Inside the downloaded Texture Pack, there are several folders, the last folder with the name «0004000000081E00», those numbers are specific to the game, but if your game is the European or Japanese version, you must change that folder name to the numbers of your game, depending on the region.

Example: If the texture pack you downloaded comes with the folder name «0004000000081E00» but your game is European, name it, for example: «0004000000081E00» Without quotes.

How to Install on PC

  • Unzip the Texture Pack
  • Open citra and Right click on the Game icon
  • Hit «Open custom textures»
  • When the folder opens, move all images from the unzipped texture pack to that folder.
  • Then go to Emulation, Configure, Graphics and check the «Custom Textures» box. You can also check, Preload and Sync, to Avoid Stuttering When Loading Textures.

How to Install on Android

  • You must have a decompressor like RAR, which you can get on Google Play, or a file manager that can open zip files.
  • Decompress all the images that are inside the Texture Pack file.
  • When you install the Citra Emulator for the first time, it gives you the option to choose a folder to save the emulator data, you must remember what that path is, or search for it with a file manager, when you get it.
  • You must move all images to the following path: /citra/load/textures/0004000000081E00
  • If the folders Load/textures. They are not created, you must create it, just as you must create the folder with the numbers, but those numbers depend on the version of your game or region. Read above for more information.
