As mentioned at the beginning of the article, this is a Nintendo 3DS emulator. In case you didn’t know, let me explain. There used to be an app to play this console, but the company “Nintendo” sued them and shut down their pages and projects.
A few months later, this Citra emerged, maintaining the same name because the creator is the same person who worked on the original project.
But why continue with the project despite having a lawsuit from the big N? The reason is that Citra was harmed not because it was illegal, but due to Yuzu, which was developed by the same team.
Therefore, Nintendo decided to take down all applications from the Citra team, even though these applications weren’t violating any rules.
