Guide: How to Add Cheats Citra, MMJ, Lime3DS Android

This is method is compatible with:

  • Official Citra
  • Citra MMJ
  • Lime3DS
  • Citra PabloMK7

There are countless cheats to increase health, gold, points, and more for our favorite games. Today, we’ll look at how to add cheats to our Citra 3DS emulator.

But first, if you don’t have the emulators updated to the latest version, here they are for you:

Before adding codes

First, you’ll need to get the cheats. I assume you already have them since you’re looking for how to use them, but just in case, I’ll share this link where you can find plenty:

Second, make sure the cheat you downloaded is compatible with your game. The game might be from the USA, EUR, or Japan. If the game is in Spanish, it’s usually EUR. But don’t worry, as they often work regardless.

Next, open either Citra or Lime3DS, but not Citra MMJ since it’s slightly different, which we’ll cover in the next step. Press and hold on the game you want to use. Then, tap on the “+”.

We need to enter the cheats one by one, so if you have a long list, it might take some time. Start by adding one cheat first to test if it works.

Enter the name of the cheat. The note is optional, and then input the code.

Press and hold your game, then select “edit cheat.” The codes you add should be written like this:

There is an example in the video. To enable or disable a cheat, simply check or uncheck the boxes next to the cheats you want to use.
